How mentally fit are you?

PQ® (Positivity Quotient) measures the relative strength of your positive mental muscles (Sage) versus the negative (Saboteur). Independent researchers have validated this measure to be the greatest predictor of how happy you are, and how well you perform against your potential.

What to expect

The PQ® programme delivers the insight, motivation and structure you need to establish a regular mental fitness practice in 6 weeks. 

Here’s how it works: 

Weekly video lessons

Weekly videos take you through an hour of theory and exercises. The content is broken into short chunks and available to watch any time so you can fit it around your schedule. 

You can also download or listen to the first 8 chapters of Shirzad Chamine’s best selling Positive Intelligence® book.

Whilst it’s a 6 week programme, that’s just the beginning. You have access to all the programme materials for 1 year to cement your learning, with an option to subscribe to receive additional new daily content.

Online group sessions

You can complete the programme on your own, join a ‘pod’ with others doing it, or form your own pod with friends or colleagues.

Each pod is limited to 6 places so you can get to know each other, feel comfortable sharing your progress and challenges and receive individual attention and support.

I lead weekly online pod meetings (usually Mondays) that ring-fence time to reflect on your progress, learn from each others’ experiences and ask any questions.

You also have a private community space within the app to continue conversations with your pod which means encouragement and accountability is always on hand.

Daily app-guided practice and feedback

Most attempts at positive change fail because we stop at insight and don’t build habits. The PQ® app harnesses technology to help you lay down the neural pathways you need to form new habits through consistent daily practice.

The app guides this daily practice and provides motivating feedback on your progress via a visual dashboard.

Tailored support from me

I’m always on hand to lead you through the 6-week programme and support you if things are challenging. 

You’ll have a confidential 30-minute pre-programme discussion with me to get clear on what you want to get out of the programme. If you’re working with a pod, I’ll see you in weekly pod meetings. If you’re working individually, we schedule weekly one-to-one reflection and coaching space instead. 

I continue to support PQ® ‘graduates’ afterwards with the option to book onto my monthly PQ® ‘sage’ groups.

Conquering fear and worry

“After almost 40 years of playing safe and staying small, there are no words to express how life changing this course has been for me.  

Having been incredibly fearful of pretty much most things for as long as I can remember, my expectations going into this course were fairly low; maybe I’d reduce my levels of fear a little, maybe if I was really lucky they’d reduce enough to allow some moments of peace in between the worrying about all the ways my life could go wrong. 

I still can’t quite believe that the simple exercises in this course have fundamentally changed my patterns of thinking, and where my mind would previously have obsessively chewed on all my fears, now I seem to have developed an ability to stop that destructive spiral, and instead to reassure myself and complete a simple two-minute focus exercise to bring me to a state of calm.
